In the light of the moon a little egg lay on a leaf.
月光下，一个小小的卵，躺在树叶上。
One Sunday morning the warm sun came up and pop! Out of the egg came a tiny and very hungry caterpillar.
一个星期天的早晨， 暖暖的太阳升起来了——啪！ ——从卵壳里钻出一条又小又饿的毛毛虫。
He started to look for some food.
他开始四处寻找食物。
On Monday he ate through one apple. But he was still hungry.
星期一，他吃了一个苹果，但是，他还是很饿。
On Tuesday he ate through two pears, but he was still hungry.
星期二，他吃了两个梨，但是他还是很饿。
On Wednesday he ate through three plums, but he was still hungry.
星期三，他吃了三个李子，但是他还是感到非常饿。
On Thursday he ate through four strawberries, but he was still hungry.
星期四，他吃了四个草莓，但是他还是非常饿。

OnSaturday he ate through one piece of chocolate cake, one ice-cream cone, one pickle, one slice of Swiss cheese, one slice of salami, one lollipop, one piece of cherry pie, one sausage, one cupcake, and one slice of watermelon.
星期六，他吃了好多好多……蛋糕， 冰淇淋，黄瓜，瑞士奶酪，香肠，棒棒糖，馅饼，热狗，
杯子蛋糕，还有西瓜！
That night he had a stomach-ache!
那天晚上，他开始肚子疼了。
The next day was Sunday again. The caterpillar ate through one nice green leaf, and after that he felt much better.
第二天，又是一个星期天。毛毛虫吃了一片新鲜的树叶，之后他便感觉好多了。
Now he wasn’ t hungry anymore -- and he wasn ’t a little caterpillar anymore. He was
a big, fat caterpillar.
现在， 他再也感觉不到饿了——他已经不再一条小小的毛毛虫了， 他长成了一只肥
