Study on the Relationship between Learning Strategy and Oral English Proficiency of Non-English Majors

摘要

随着外语教学目的由“以教师为中心”转向“以学生者为中心”,人们越来越关注对二
语学习者各因素的研究,尤其是对学习者学习策略的研究。但是,由于二语口语语料的搜集、
记录和分析较之书面语料更为困难,导致研究者对英语口语的研究无论在广度和深度上,都
有较大的发展空间。特别是在探索英语口语能力的发展方面,究竟学习策略与二语口语能力
的关系如何?哪些学学习者在使用学习
策略上有不同吗?到目前为止,对这些问题作理论研究的情况并不多,对其作实证研究的情
况更是十分的有限。
该研究以南京航空航天大学金城学院 60 名非英语专业的大二本科生为调查对象,对他
们的口语学进行相关研究。并利用问卷调查得出学习者的学习策略分
布,并利用对学习者的期末口语成绩进行统计分析,得出如下结论:
(1)学具有相关性。(2)学
忆策略、认知策略、补偿策略、元认知策略、情感策略和社交策略,其中补偿策略使用频率
最高。(3)就整体学学生之间存在显著差异,即
高水平学生在学学生。
结论(1)与多数研究一致,证实了学具有相关性。与
传统研究结果不尽相同,在本研究中,元认知策略和认知策略并非使用频率最高,补偿策略
使用最高。并且得出高水平学生在学学生。
最后,在本研究的基础上,提出了英语教学和进一步研究的建议。

Abstract
With the shift from the teacher-centered foreign language teaching approach to the
learner-centered approach, increasing attention is paid to the learner’s factors of L2, especially the
learner’s learning strategies. However, the oral materials of L2 are very difficult to collect, record
and analyze while the written materials of L2 are readily accessible for researches, leaving a
relatively large room for development in studying both the extension and profundity of oral
English, particularly in exploring the development of oral English ability. What is the relationship
between learning strategies and oral English proficiency? What learning strategy is chosen to
improve the learner’s oral proficiency? Are there any differences between high-level learners and
low-level learners in their learning strategies? So far, the theoretical researches in the field have
been far from adequate and sufficient, and the empirical researches there are still somewhat
limited.
