辨析ago与before
ago 表示时间以现在为基准,意思是“在现在以前”因此要和动词的过去式连用,不和现在完成时连用。
before 是指从过去某一时间算起的一段时间以前,意思是“在那时以前”,动词常用过去分词形式。eg:I visited her two weeks ago ,but I heard she had gone to London two days before.
hope
hope 作动词时意思是“希望”,后跟that引导的宾语从句,也可跟动词不定式to do 形式,eg:I hope that you e in time.
eg:The twins hope to visit the Great Wall.
hope作名词,eg:While there is life,there is ,不怕没柴烧
