文档介绍:1 REACT 1200/1300 SERIES JOINTS Installation Guide METHOD STATEMENT Scope Read this manual in conjunction with the React 1200 or 1300 Product Datasheets This document outlines typical installation methods and procedures for use on concrete decks with rolled asphalt surfacing. Other deck details can be modated. Vexcolt will be pleased to prepare individual schemes from customers' working drawings. It should be remembered that the React 1200 & 1300 ranges are bolted joint systems. In order to make installation easier, reinforcing rods in the concrete should, wherever possible, be set out to miss bolt locations. Setting out & cutting the recess to receive React 1200 & 1300 units Prior to laying the surfacing a piece of hardboard or similar material should be placed on the concrete deck, symmetrically about the joint centre line, to prevent contamination by the surfacing material and to make it easier to remove spoil when cutting out the recess - see Figure 1. Do not exceed dimension 'Y' - see Figure 2 figure 1 figure 2 Locate the expansion gap in the concrete deck and mark its centre line on walls, kerbs and medians prior to laying the wearing surface. Working from the centre line and using a snap chalk line, mark the positions of the two outer edges of the recess - see Figure 2 and refer to Table 1 below. When installing a Rea
