依照中华人民共和国法律规定，凡在华留学的国际学生，申请入学时必须提供无犯罪记录证明，考虑到部分国际学生可能无法及时提供本国无犯罪记录证明，本着人文关怀的初衷，学校提供短期替代性的无犯罪记录承诺书，签署本承诺书的学生需明确以下几点：
无犯罪记录承诺书为短期替代性文件，签署无犯罪记录证明书的学生需在入学后尽快开具本国的无犯罪记录证明并主动提交给学校的招生管理部门。
无犯罪记录承诺中所提及的无犯罪记录是指无刑事犯罪记录。
学生必须依照客观事实签署本承诺书。如发现学生的无犯罪记录承诺与事实不符，学校将对涉事学生做开除学籍处理。
学生提供的无犯罪记录证明时间点必须与办理证明的时间相一致而非入学时间。
