Run-Together Sentences A run-together sentence is a sentence in which two or more independent clauses are incorrectly joined by ma without a coordinating conjunction or sentence connector. This kind of error is also called a run-on sentence or ma splice. Run-together  sentences: Getting married is easy, staying married is a different matter. A foreign student faces many problems, for example, he has to cope with a new culture. Correcting this problem is easy. The hardest part is simply recognizing a run-together sentence. Learn to check your sentences reads correctly, ma should be changed. A run-together sentence can be corrected in four ways. By adding 1. a period: Getting married is easy .Staying married is a different matter. 2. a semicolon: Getting married is easy; staying married is a different matter. 3. a coordinating conjunction: Getting married is easy, but staying married is a different matter. 4. a subordinating conjunction: Getting married is easy although staying married is a different matter.
