Listen to the story and answer the following questions briefly.
Words you need to know:
sophomore (大二学生) tumor (肿瘤)
incredibly (难以置信地) appreciate(欣赏,期望)
enlightened (光明的)

In the spring of my sophomore year in college, one morning I woke up in the hospital, scared and confused, my parents were sitting around me. A few weeks later, a medical report revealed a small brain tumor in my head. The doctor told me the tumor was small but there was a possibility it would put me at high risk in the future. Meanwhile, if I had brain surgery now I might suffer a full stroke. He let me make the biggest choice I’d ever met in my life.
Then I decided to undergo the surgery. I had brain surgery two weeks later and it was incredibly essful.
Sometimes bad things happened to people, you can either e sad or you can keep on appreciating life in an enlightened way, I decided to live.
