Do not make the mistake of thinking that an e-mail replaces a hand-written thank-you note or a personal telephone call.
If you expect prompt response to your telephone message, be sure to return ur voice mail message quickly as well.
Don’t ask for others’ finances, health or marital status.
Do not mix business with pleasure.
Be direct. If you don’t have time to talk, say so. If you cannot stay, say so.
