Article 1
These Procedures are formulatecl for the purpose of st reng 七匕10门：门9 the

out side China and
ensuring the sound developmen七 of financial undertakings. Article 2
All banking and non-banking financial ins ions inside China
(hereinafter collec tively referred to as
"domes tic financial
institui：ions"), all non-financial corporations,
ent erprises and c± her organiza "tions inside China (hereinafter collec tively referred to as
"domestic non-financial ins"titu七ions"), all Chinese-investecl banking and
non-banking financial ins■titutions ourtside China (hereinafter collectively
referred 七。as z/Chinese-investecl financial ins七比口七ions abroad"), and all
Chinese-inves "ted non-financial corporations, ent erprises and c± her
organizations out side China (hereinafter collec tively referred to as
/zChinese-invested non-financial ins七比口七ions abroad") thcrt wish to inves七
in the es七ablishment or purchase of a financial ins七比口七；0门 abroad shall
abide by 七hese Procedures.
The 七erm "financial institutions abroad" referred to in the preceding
paragraph denotes institurtions which are established or purchased abroad
by domestic financial insti七口廿。门$ or non-financial instiisut ions, or
