一、 系动词+adj （系动词是表示“是什么”或“怎么样” 说明主语的状态，性质或身份）
课文：You look excited.

Be+adj.
状态；可用来表示主语性质或状态，只有be一词，例如：
He is a 。（表示主语的身份 性质）
He is ill,他病了。（表示主语的状态）
I am happy
持续；He always keep silent at 。
This matter rests a mystery,此事仍然是一个谜。
表像；He looks so 。
He seems （to be） very 。
感官；感官系动词主要有feel, smell, sound, taste, look例如：
This kind of cloth feels very soft.
这种布手感很软。
This flower smells very sweet.
这朵花闻起来很香。
二、 原因状语从句
课文:1、She is crying in the bathroom because she did badly in the English exam.
2、r m feeling really sad because I failed the English exam.
引导原因状语从句的从属连词有because (因为)，，since (既然)，as (由于) 语气由强变弱。
because常用于Why的回答
1 stayed at home because it 。 ⑵ Because Li ng ling was ill, she didn't come to ，没有上学。
2sjnoe侧重主句，从句表示显然的或已为人所知的理由，常译为“因为、“既然”， 语气比because稍弱，通常置于句首，表示一种含有勉强语气的原因。如： (1 )Since he asks you, you'll tell him why他既然问你，那就告诉他为什么吧。

3是常用词，它表示的“原因”是双方已知的事实或显而易见的原因，或者 理由不是很重要，含义与since相同，但语气更弱，没有since正 式， 常译为“由于，鉴于”。从句说明原因，主句说明结果，主从并重。例如 ⑴We all like her as she is ，因为她善良。
