谈论被允许做的事以及同意与不同意的表达法。涉及的语法项目是被动语态----情态动词+ be +动词的过去分词的用法，对这一语法项目要相应拓展到一般现在时、一般过去时、现在完成时和现在完成时的被动语态的用法。
二、过程与方法
采用Concluding, Role playing 和 Comparing 的学****策略，来展开课堂pairwork问大师的口语交际活动和讨论活动来谈论名人所采用的学****方法。
词汇教学：情景操练，反复使用。
口语教学；师生互动，生生互动，对话练****交际活动。
阅读教学：利用词典等工具书，根据上下文查寻词义。
语法教学：总结规律，模仿操练。
三、知识与技能
1、学会谈论允许和不允许做的事情。
2、学会谈论应该被允许和不被允许的事情。
3、能够针对被允许和不被允许的事情发表自己的观点。
4、通过本单元的听力训练，能叙述同意或不同意的理由。
教学重点、难点
1. Words: driver, license, earring, allow, drive, pierce, concentrate, volunteer, perform, silly, local, primary, instead of, stay up, be strict with, the other day, learn from, at present
2. Sentences: I think students should be allowed to do homework with friends.
Sixteen-year-olds should not be allowed to drive.
Do you think sixteen-year-olds should be allowed to work at night.
I disagree. They talk instead of doing homework.
I agree. They aren’t serious enough at that age.
