衡东县侨联2010年工作总结
一年以来，在县“四大家”的正确领导下，在省、市侨联和县统战部的关心指导下，衡东县侨联高举中国特色社会主义伟大旗帜，全面贯彻落实党的十七大和十七届五中全会精神，围绕县委、县政府中心工作，按照上级侨联的部署，结合本会的实际情况，以创先争优活动为契机，以“六侨”为主线，不断创新工作思路，用心为侨服务，努力开拓侨务工作局面，着力发展民营经济，积极推进新农村建设，致力促进民生改善，努力推动县域经济又好又快发展，取得了较好的成效。现将具体情况简单总结如下：
一、汇聚侨力，大力开展侨心助学。
今年来,我们充分发挥自身优势，广集海内外侨胞之力，广泛开展“侨（爱）心工程”活动，得到海外中国教育基金会的支持，为全县贫困学生提供了良好的学台。一是我们今年在二中、草市中学、杨桥完小等三所学校举行了海外中国教育基金会扶助贫困学生的2010年助学金现场发款仪式，县侨联王一社主席代表海外中国教育基金会亲自将125700元的助学金发送到226位学生（人次）的手里。二是县侨联多次和县领导、教育局等一起跑省侨联，争取杨林镇完小的危楼改建工程可以得到捐款资助。功夫不负有心人，香港吴星可慈善基金会于10月份到现场察看，并已同意向学校捐赠25万元建设教学楼。

三是美籍华人黄敦锦、黄敦钰姐妹再次来欧阳遇实验中学捐资助学45000元。四是四川大地震期间，衡东县侨界人士自发组织捐款51210元资助四川灾区学生。五是积极向省侨联争取“珍珠”班的指标。
二、凝聚侨心，做好海外联谊工作
我们十分重视在做好县内广大归侨、侨眷工作的基础上，继续坚持“必访、必问、必记”制度，积极开展与港、澳同胞和海外侨胞的联络联谊活动，做好团结和服务工作。一年共接待来信来访40多人次，其中来访20多人次。在2009年圣诞节、2010年元旦和春节期间，向海内外港澳侨胞及国外友人寄发贺卡110份，电子邮件150份，走访慰问重点侨界
