"Don't spoil me. I know quite well that I ought not have all I ask for. I'm only testing you."（别宠坏了我，我知道我不可能想要的都能得到，我就是试试你罢了。）
"Don't tell me my fears are silly. They are terribly real and you can do much to reassure me if you try to understand." （不要告诉我说我的害怕很愚蠢，有些东西的确真的可怕，如果你尝试理解的话你可以做很多事情以打消我的恐惧。）
"Don't be inconsistent. That completely confuses me and makes me lose faith in you."（不要自相矛盾，那样会让我很疑惑的，并且会让我失去对你的信任。）
"Don't make rash promises. Remember that I feel badly let down when promises are broken."（不要轻率地作出承诺，当诺言打破的时候我会很失望的。）
