校园文化活动是提高大学生综合素质的重要途径，要通过开展丰富多彩的校园文化活动，使我校大学生具有较高的文化素养和强烈的人文情怀；审美情趣高雅，具有一定的发现美、感受美、创造美的能力；具有自强不息、务实协作、开拓创新的健全人格；具有积极适应环境、善于自我调节的健康心理和胜任学****工作的健康体魄。
5．社会工作与社团活动
要通过开展有关课外教育活动，使我校大学生具有良好的沟通交际能力与合作共事能力；具有一定的大局观念和组织领导能力；具有较强的自尊心、自信心、事业心和责任感；具有较强的集体主义和奉献牺牲精神。
6．职业资格与技能考试培训
职业资格与技能考试培训是在培养我校大学生在具有较为扎实的专业知识和过硬的文化素养的基础上，通过学历教育与职业资格认证、技能培训相结合，进一步提高应用性人才的培养的质量，提高就业和工作的竞争能力。
三、组织实施机构与职责
1．按照《西安建筑科技大学本科生成绩考核及管理实施细则》中通识课的管理办法对课外教育学分进行考核和管理。
2．各院（系）成立以主管学生工作的党委（总支）副书记为组长，院（系）分团委（总支）书记为副组长，分团委（总支）副书记、各年级辅导员为成员的工作组。其主要职责是：
（1）具体负责本院（系）课外教育学分的管理和实施工作。
（2）积极搭建课外教育活动平台，组织和引导大学生参加各类课外教育活动。
（3）审批大学生参加课外教育学分认定申请，并将认定申请表同相关证明材料存档保管。
（4）定期检查和公布大学生课外教育学分获取的情况，对大学生取得课外学分给予指导，并督促大学生取得规定的最低课外教育学分。
（5）负责各类课外教育学分的最终成绩记载、网上录入等工作。
