The receiver consumes 10-12mW (including VCOs, pulse generation and baseband) over a frequency range of - with a supply. An LO generation architecture generates a % duty cycle resonant clock from plementary LC-tank VCOs. A capacitor sharing technique on the baseband side of the mixer doubles the RX frequency range of the 8-phase clock, achieving a NF as low as 7dB. The low noise baseband ampli?er reuses the bias current of its four input channels while rejecting the 3 rd /5 thharmonics by > 34dB. I NTRODUCTION Recent interest in single chip software de?ned radios has led to the development of many low noise, highly linear, wideband receivers based on passive mixers [1], [2], [3]. These mixers provide both ?ltering and frequency downconversion across a wide frequency
