process:
step1: Lead—in
播放一首英文歌曲,挑选出两个定语从句:
This is the day I will never forget.
You are the only one I will love for ever.
出示定义:在一个复合句中,修饰某一名词或代词的从句叫定语从句,被修饰的词叫先行词,定语从句一般紧跟先行词,由关系词引出。
关系词及其意义:
关系代词:who ,whom, whose , that ,which , as;
关系副词:when, where ,why .
考点和难点:
考点: that 和which ; 对the way做先行词的考查;对介词+关系代词的考查;
难点:as引导的非限制性定语从句;一些特殊词case, point, situation等关系副词where的用法。

通过对以上例句的分析,学生自己总结出只能用that,which的情况。
the way 做先行词
The way that / in which / 不用he explained the sentence to us was not difficult to understand.
The way (that/which) he explained to us was quite simple.
学生讨论the way 做先行词关系词的选择。

I was given 3 books on cooking,the first of which I really like.
The English play in which the students acted at the New Year’s party was a great success.
