★ Nationalism tends to make us view people from other cultures and countries as
different from ourselves. The baby is just seen as culturally different as the people from the countries represented by different flags.
Nation
A group of culturally and historically similar people who feel munal bond and who feel they should govern themselves to at least some degree with political identity.

There are three elements that helps define a nation:

State
A political actor that has sovereignty and a number of characteristics, including territory, population, organization and recognition.
In detail, it includes Sovereignty, territory, population, diplomatic recognition, anization, internal loyalty.
Nation- State
A anized territory that recognizes no higher law and whole population politically identifies with that entity.
