In order to catch up with advanced leve l of the world, provid ing more perfect product for the domestic users , responding to the call of the global energy saving strategies and national policies, and reflecting the high degree of corporate social responsibility , FAW - Volkswagen introduc ed advanced turbo direct injection engine , which is efficient, economical, energy saving and environmental , now the engine has been applied to Sagitar. This paper introduces the engine intake system, cooling system, fuel system and engine management system, as most of supercharged engine s, TSI engine also has an exhaust gas turbocharger, and the difference is that the turbocharger has two cooling systems, so it can extend the life of the turbocharger.
