Abstract—The removal of U(Ⅵ) from aqueous solution by bamboo several disadvantages such as high-energy requirements, high-
leaf was investigated. pare the adsorption capability of running costs and toxic soluble slag depositing. For the
untreated bamboo leaf and anionics-treated bamboo leaf, SDS was advantage of biomaterial such as low cost, high efficiency,
used as anion modifier. Variables of experiments including initial pH, minimization on chemical or biological sludge, no additional
concentration, contact time, adsorbent dose and temperature were nutrient requirement, and regeneration of biosorbents and
studied. The results indicated that the adsorption capabilities are possibility of metal recovery, recently attention has been
strongly influenced by the initial pH, adsorbent dose. Optimum pH is diverted towards the biomaterial which is more applicable to
~. Temperature and contact time were also found that has a heavy metals adsorption. It has been reported that seaweeds,
little effect on the adsorption. The change of adsorption efficiency sawdust, anisms and agricultural by-products have the
