图像配准是计算机视觉和图像处理领域中一项非常重要的工作,是许多图像
的进一步处理工作的前提条件和先验工作。本文针对图像配准算法进行了深入细
致的研究。
首先主要研究了两类图像配准算法:直接基于图像灰度信息的配准算法和基
于图像特征的配准算法。并对传统的具有代表性的算法进行了分析评价,归纳出
一种图像配准的改进方法。
在此基础上,将频域配准算法和图像特征提取方法进行有机结合,研究介绍
了一种基于图像边缘特征和变换域相关相结合的图像配准算法。实验证明了该方
法在图像间存在旋转和平移时都有良好的配准效果。
更进一步的,针对文档图像的特点,本文提出了一种基于 Hausdorff 距离和
几何不变性的文档图像配准方法。通过实验,验证了该方法在文档图像配准上的
正确性和有效性,扩展了图像配准的应用。

ABSTRACT
Image registration is an important research topic in the fields of computer vision
and image processing. It is well known as the precondition of other parts of image
processing. A great deal of work is done to study image registration algorithms in this
dissertation.
For the beginning, two methods of image registration which are the method based
on the lightness information and the method based on the features of the images are
researched mainly in this dissertation. After the analysis and evaluation of several
classic algorithms, a improved method of image registration is summed up.
Next, on the base of the above research, a new composite registration algorithm
based on image edge feature and transform domain correlation is proposed in this
dissertation by combining the algorithm of registration in frequency domain with image
feature extraction effectively. The experiment results show that this method can deal
with the images existing shift and rotation well.
Furthermore, Aiming at the characteristic of document image, a new method of
document image registration based on geometric invariance and Hausdorff distance is
presented in this dissertation. Experiments indicate our method leads to accurate and
robust registration, and can extract the filled-in information reliably.
