小城镇特色反映了小城镇在发展和建设过程中文化、历史的沉淀，综合了小城镇各
方面的特点。近几年来，随着社会的发展，小城镇建设进入了一个崭新的阶段，由于地
理环境的不同及小城镇自身条件的限制，每个小城镇的发展不尽相同，特别是大城市周
边的小城镇，由于受到中心城市的辐射和影响，其建设和发展较为迅速，但是某些小城
镇在追求眼前短浅利益的同时，却忽视了对原有小城镇特色的保护，导致许多小城镇遭
到了建设性的破坏，失去了原有的地方特色。因此，如何在快速发展的城市化进程中辩
证地保护和发展小城镇，已经成为了迫在眉睫的研究课题。
本文介绍了目前小城镇建设中对原有特色保护的方法和相关理论，分析了小城镇发
展与保护现状和所面临的主要问题，通过对国外城镇历史传承保护的研究，总结了一些
经验，供中国小城镇借鉴。最后以长株潭城市群周边小城镇为例，详细地分析了小城镇
发展和保护的主要方法。
本文主要由四个部分组成：
第一部分，对研究的内容、背景、目的以及意义等进行了简明的阐述及总结；
第二部分，分析了小城镇发展和保护现状、城市化进程中所面临的问题以及现阶段
小城镇的几种发展模式；
第三部分，阐述了大城市周边小城镇发展与保护的理论研究及实例分析；
第四部分，以长株潭城市群周边小城镇坪塘镇、榔梨镇、铜官镇、为例，并对其它
几个小城镇进行比较分析，进一步阐述小城镇历史传承发展与保护方法。
通过研究，我认为小城镇的发展与保护应做到辩证统一，应充分了解原有小城镇的
文化底蕴和特色资源，对小城镇的可持续发展进行合理的规划，将小城镇的原有特色进
行最大程度的保护和延续。

ABSTRACT
The characteristic of small towns reflects the development of the cultural, historical and
construction process of precipitation, integrated the characteristics of various aspects of small
towns. In recent years, with the development of society, the small town has entered a new
stage, due to the different geographical environment and the limits of their own conditions,
developed variously, especially in areas surrounding the cities, due to the radiation and
influence of the central city, its construction and development more quickly, but some small
towns while in the pursuit of the momentary interests, ignored its original features protection ,
were badly constructed and forced to lose its original local characteristics. Therefore, how to
dialectically protect and develop towns in the urbanization process of rapid development, has
become the urgent research topic.
The method and theory research of original characteristic protection in the construction
of small towns was introduced in this paper, and analysis the status of small towns
