一、学生分析
The age of our students are between 18 and are active and energetic. They have the basic knowledge of listening, saying, reading and writing, they like some lively and interesting reading materials but have little interest in scientific reading materials. They also have some basic knowledge of guessing unknown words but their abilities are not good enough, so it is necessary for them to improve their abilities of guessing unknown words and expressions in reading.
二、教材分析
Although the students have some basic knowledge of guessing unknown words ,they still have problems in guessing unknown words and expressions when reading. If they master the skills of guessing unknown words, it will be greatly helpful for their reading speed and understanding. So the skills play an important part in reading comprehension.
三、教学目标
Introduce some skills of guessing unknown words to the students
Students can use the skills to guess the meaning of unknown words
