WARNING

The engine, turb ine, or other type of prime mover should be equipped with an overspeed shutdow n device to protect aga inst run away or damage to the prime mover with possible pers onal injury, loss of life, or property damage.
The overspeed shutdow n device must be totally in depe ndent of the prime mover con trol system. An overtemperature or overpressure shutdow n device may also be n eeded for safety, as appropriate.

CAUTION
To preve nt damage to a con trol system that uses an alter nator or battery-charg ing device, make sure the charg ing device is turned off before disc onnecting the battery from the system.
Electro nic con trols con tain static-se nsitive parts. Observe the followi ng precauti ons to preve nt damage to these parts.
? Discharge body static before han dli ng the con trol (with power to the con trol tur ned off, con tact a groun ded surface and maintain con tact while han dli ng the con trol).
? Avoid all plastic, vin yl, and Styrofoam (except an tistatic versions) around prin ted circuit boards.
? Do not touch the comp onents or con ductors on a prin ted circuit board with
your hands or with con ductive devices.
