In my opinion, failure isn't always a bad thing. We will have a more realistic view about ourselves and the world around us. As people often say, failure is the mother if success. A temporary loser dose not necessarily mean a permanent loser. Grasping opportunity, everyone can succeed with his or her efforts.
Change in the Ways People Spent Their Holidays
The ways people spent their holidays have changed greatly. In 2005, 40% of people spent their holiday at home, the figure dropping to 9% in 2010. It seemed that people were becoming more and more mobile, and they wanted to explore entertainment in the outside world.
The seaside still had its attraction to people. The rate dropped slightly from 38% in 2005 to 31% in 2010. But there might be a further decrease in the future because of the pollution.
The table shows that a great number of people spent their holidays traveling abroad. The rate in 2010 doubled as compared with 2005. With the increase of income, more and more people could afford and would go abroad to spend their holidays.
The table also shows another tendency: the rate of camping was rising from 10% in 2005 to 36% in 2010. The reason may be that the real beauty of nature is being rediscovered, and people are getting more and more eager to return to nature.
