teaching management, low rate of classes and the problems such as obsolete teaching thought, hereby making some substantive progress. But there are still some problems to be solved, like failure in attaching enough importance to music courses, uneven distribution of qualified teachers, the old teaching methods. In view of this, this article applies the methods of literature, interview, and questionnaires, the present condition of the elementary music teaching in the two provinces, and Bai Yunyuan primary school and Jining experimental primary school in Nanjing as the investigation target.
The content of this essay involves the educational ideas and methods, and facilities, etc. The last part for offers some constructive suggestions and thoughts on the provincial investigation covering the status of the primary schools’ music
