摘要
随着航空航天技术的发展,人们加快了对太空探索的脚步,对空间图像的实
时性、高效性传输提出了更高的要求,加大了对压缩性能良好且复杂度低的图像
压缩算法的需求。在这一形势下,CCSDS 组织于 2005 年 11 月发布了一套用于空
间领域的图像压缩算法标准,该算法的应用定位于太空飞行器上的高速设备,不
需要复杂的算法知识背景就可以理解并应用。
本文在研究 CCSDS 图像压缩算法原理的基础上,对算法中编码选项的选取进
行了深入的探讨,并将该算法与当前主流的图像压缩算法 JPEG2000 进行了对比分
析,测试结果表明 CCSDS 图像压缩算法在图像压缩性能略差的情况下,有着比
JPEG2000 更好的抗误码能力和较低的复杂度,更适用于空间领域的图像压缩。另
外,本文用提升方案实现了 CCSDS 图像压缩算法中的浮点离散小波变换,并在对
压缩编码时的数据进行深入分析和研究的基础上,对 AC 系数字的映射和 AC 熵编
码提出了相应的改进方案,同时提出了一种基于高频系数补偿的改进方案。实验
结果表明,这些改进方案在降低 CCSDS 图像压缩算法复杂度的同时还提高了算法
的压缩性能。

Abstract
Abstract
The development of the space technology has expedited the progress of human
exploration of cosmos, which has put forward higher requirements for real-time and
highly effective transmission of space images, and also has expanded the demands for
an image compression algorithm with good compression performance and low
complexity. According to this demand, the CCSDS Organization issued a set of standard
for space image compression algorithm in November 2005, which is supposed to be
used at high-speed devices on the spacecraft. This algorithm is with low complexity so
that can be understood and grasped without the need for sophisticated algorithm
knowledge background.
Based on the research on the principle of CCSDS algorithm of image compression,
a discussion on the selection of encoding options in this algorithm is presented in this
paper. Also, this algorithm is analyzed in contrast with JPEG2000 algorithm, which has
been the mainstream of current image compression algorithms, to show that with fairly
poor image compression performance, the CCSDS has a better resistance performance
to bit errors and a lower algorithm complexity, and is more suitable for th
