SUPPORT FOR PEOPLE WITH CANCER
AND THE PEOPLE WHO CARE ABOUT THEM
Living with cancer is hard. Where are you in this challenge?
You may have just learned that you have cancer. Or you may be
in treatment. At every point, you may have a range of feelings.
It is important to accept these feelings and learn how to live with them.
Feelings about your cancer may be with you for a long time.
This book was written for you—the person with cancer.
But this book can also be helpful to those people who are close to you.
This book may help them better understand what you are going through.
Even if you have no close relatives or live far away from your family,
you may have friends who you think of as your "family."
