非谓语动词之一：动词不定式
1.. 动词不定式的否定结构: 在不定式符号to前面加not 构成.
He decided not to go home. I told him not to play in the street.
2. 句法功能： 在句中做主语，表语，定语。状语，宾补，宾语

1. 不定式作定语
a. 与所修饰的词有动宾关系,而这个不定式的动词又是不及物动词, 它后面应有必要的介词，被修饰的词是time , place, way 时则****惯省略介词：。
There is nothing to worry about.
I need a pen to write with.
He is looking for a room to live in.
He has no place to live (in).
b. 当作定语的不定式所修饰的名词或代词是不定式动作的承受者时，不定式既可以用主动语态，也可用被动语态. 但其含义有所不同。试比较：
A. Have you anything to send? 你有东西要送吗？
B. Have you anything to be sent? 有你东西需要别人送吗？
c. 不定式做定语表将来。
The question to be discussed tomorrow at the meeting is about pollution.
d. 序数词或最高级修饰中心词时，用动词不定式
He was the first person to get to the airport.

e. 中心词是抽象名词时，常见的有：chance, ability, attempt, way ,reason ,time 等
Do you have the ability to get over the difficulties?

2. 不定式作宾语 常见的动词有：
decide/learn/want/expect/refuse/hope/wish/manage/pretend/seem/plan/promise/help/ offer/choose/wait/ happen /afford/ strike/agree/
注意：用it 代表不定式做/形式宾语，把不定式放在后面。
I find it interesting to study English.
We thought it better to start early.
动词不定式在介词but, except后面做宾语时，如果这些介词之前有行为动词do 的各种形式，那么，这些介词后的不定式不带to, 否则要带to。

3. .不定式作宾语补足语。
常见动词有：advise/ allow/ ask/beg/ cause/encourage/expect/forbid/force/ invite/order
/require/ teach/ remind/ tell/ want/ warn/ wish/persuade/ prefer等

A. 使役的动词let, have, make等和表感官的动词
B. see、watch、notice、hear、listen to， observe、feel等
