In this article we propose architecture for data warehouses based on an object-relational database management system. Thisarchitecture intends bine most advantages of mon data warehouse architectures. Based on this architecture, data warehouses can bedeveloped efficiently as object-oriented applicationsoftware. The flexibility is given by the introduction of a metadata layer in the object-relational datawarehouse : OLAP, Data warehouse architecture,Object-relational data that is stored in the data warehouse and OLAP systems is collected, integrated and centralized from various operational data store systems.
