ABSTRACT
In this paper, it studies the technical problem of Urumqi mining in steeply inclined and
extremely thick coal seam with large thickness, high strength, caving and the promotion of
fully mechanized top coal caving mining technology . Firstly, through analysis to the coal
seam mining technology condition and physical characteristic indicators, the coal seam in
Urumqi mining area is identified to be a typical hard thick coal seam. Then the paper studies
the main effects of the six factors ( the coal strength coefficient, coal bed structure, coal body
integrity, mining and caving height ratio, hard roof, the order of occurrence depth) on the top
coal caving in the Urumqi mining steeply inclined coal seam in fully mechanized top coal
caving mining technology. The paper further using fuzzy clustering to mathematical method
to B1+2 and B3+6 seam caving index undertooks an analysis, prediction and assessment to the
top coal caving, and determines that the impact of coal caving of the main factors affecting
coal seam is top coal rock hardness, Hard clip bottles and joint development. Though the
simulation test and field observation of mineral pressure, it obtains behavior law of mine
pressure of the Urumqi mining steeply inclined coal seam sublevel mining and the migration
rule top coal fragmentation. On the basis of this, combined with practical analysis in steeply
inclined coal prehensive mechanization caving coal mining machine three-matching
conditions and parative analysis of top coal properties and weakening technology
approach, it determines the reasonable method of top coal caving top coal in advance control
method for hydraulic fracturing blasting prehensive weakening technology, and
