外科、肿瘤防治中心、腔镜肝胆外科、神经内科、感染科，是省医学会介入放射分会宝鸡介入放射培训基地，是市卫生局确定的全市医疗中心、医学影像和临床检验中心、烧伤治疗、肿瘤防治、糖尿病防治、人工肾透析和肝病防治中心，是西安交通大学、延安大学、陕西中医学院的教学医院。
近几年，医院坚持“科技兴院、专家治院、人才强院”的方针，狠抓人才战略，充实医疗队伍，业务范围不断拓展，开展高难度技术项目，为医院赢得了荣誉。医院成立了介入治疗中心，在全市首家开展了子宫肌瘤、椎间盘突出、脾功能亢进、晚期肝硬化等疾病的介入治疗。心内科开展了冠状动脉造影术、支架植入术、先心病房缺伞堵术及射频消融治疗心律失常等项目，功能科开展了腔内超声和介入超声等新项目，骨科开展了异体骨置入项目。初步装备了肝病实验室及血液病实验室，并相继开展了检测项目。透析室规模扩大，业务进一步拓展。同时，大力发展微创治疗技术, 开展了宫腔镜、肠镜、胆道镜、腔镜、关节镜、介入超声技术、介入放射技术等微创技术，代表了省内先进水平。同时，医院首批报名参加了“创建全国百姓放心医院”活动，经过连续3年三个主题的创建工作，首批通过了“明明白白看病”、“医疗优质高效”、“绿色医疗环境”百姓放心医院三个主题达标，并被评选为全国首批“百姓放心示范医院”，提升了医院的知名度和美誉度。医院各项指标在全省26家三级医院综合排名中进入前十名。几年来，医院先后荣获全国
