吊装路线、吊车行进路线、吊车位置、地基处理等对照施工方案进行安全检查确认，确保其满足方案要求。
2、吊装所用工器具齐全并就位，吊车、卷扬机等设备应有相应的检验合格证、出厂合格证或者大修检验合格证等合格证明，其技术性能必须符合安全质量要求，尤其是在使用300t、400t等大型吊车的时候更应该严格把关。在吊装前起重设备应进行试运转，发现转动不灵活、有磨损的应及时修理；钢构件在正式吊装前应进行试吊，经检查试吊情况，各部位正常并有各检查责任人签字确认后才可进行正式吊装。
3、检查钢构件吊装的作业半径、吊车站位等平面布置参数，保证同施工方案一致。牵涉到多榀钢构件的吊装还应考虑到相应的吊装顺序。
4、检查工作场地的准备情况，预埋件的完成情况及确认、混凝土的强度达到设计规定的要求、人员的安全防护措施、施工器具的准备完成情况等；施工作业区应设置安全警示标志，作业区与安全区区分明显，现场应严禁无关人员进入作业区。吊装施工时要设专人定点收听天气预报，当风速为10m/s时,有时吊装工作应该停止,当风速达到15m/s（6级以上）时,所有工作均须停止，并做好台风雷雨天气前后的防范检查工作。
5、进场钢结构零部件、自拼部件、组件等应检查其相应的合格证、型号、规格、几何尺寸、焊缝检验报告等是否满足设计要求；钢构件堆放应避免金属构件的变形，并留有人员的通道与操作空间，避免二次运输，停放场地应留有足够的垫木。
6、检查参加吊装人员的身体健康状况，确保每一个参加吊装人员身体健康状况合格。开始吊装前安排技术负责人及专
