老年人的年龄划分标准
 
一、我国老年期的年龄划分标准
我国关于年龄的划分界限自古以来说法不一。民间多用三十而立,四十而不惑,五十而知天命,六十花甲,七十古稀,八十为耋,九十为耄。1982年4月,中华医学会老年医学学会建议,把60岁作为我国划分老年的标准。现阶段我国老年人按时序年龄的划分标准为:45～59岁为老年前期,即中老年人;60～89岁为老年期,即老年人;90～99岁为长寿期,100岁及其以上为寿星,即长寿老人。
 
二、世界卫生组织(WHO)老年期的年龄划分标准
