4、细化医疗废物分类收集管理。
〔1〕、将医疗垃圾及生活垃圾分类收集，杜绝医疗垃圾与生活垃圾混装，统一规定医疗废物使用黄色塑料袋盛装，生活垃圾用黑色塑料袋盛装，禁止将医疗废物混入其它废物和生活垃圾中。
〔2〕、将医疗废物分别扎口密闭，针头、穿刺针、刀片等毁形后放防渗漏耐穿刺的利器内3/4满时闭锁，不得再取出，贴上标签。
〔3〕、病原体培养基、标本、菌种和毒种保存液应先高压灭菌后再按感染性废物处理。
〔4〕、隔离传染病人或疑似传染病人产生的医疗废物及生活垃圾废物，应用双层专用包装物及时密封，贴上标签。
5、加强对一次性使用的医疗器械、器具的管理。
一次性使用的医疗用品用后，按医疗废物处理，禁止重复使用和回流市场，并做好登记工作，使用过的一次性使用医疗用品如：一次性注射器、输液器、和输血器等物品必须就地进行消毒、毁形，无回收价值的可放入专用收集袋、直接燃烧。
6、加强资料登记及管理。
相关科室建立医疗废物管理情况登记表，登记核对来源、种类、或数量，以及经办人签名等项目，要求登记资料保存齐全。
