文档介绍:ABSTRACT Abstract Thisthesisdescribes thedevelopment of abehind·-the·-eardigitalhearing aidbased on the Ezairo 59 0ultralow power audiology key technologies ofthedigitalhearing aid,as well asthedesign andimplementation ofthesystem,are presented indetail. The emphasis ofthe thesis is on hardware and software architechture designs. The hardware ofthedigitalhearing aidbuilds upon theEzairo 59 0processor which implements allthemain functionalities software realizes apolling loop architecture and the operations ofthe two processing cores,the CFX DSP core and the HEAR accelerator,are coordinated mands and in—depth analysis ofloadbalancing,algorithm partitioning,tonal noise and data flow isalsogiven. The digital hearing aid provides algorithms like pression,noise reduction,directional microphone and feedback cancellation,as well as functionalities like volume control,beep tones,low battery alarm,operating mode switching,delayed startand programming implementations ofthealgorithms and functionalities are presented in methods used tomeasure theperformance theprocessing cores are CFX DSP core ismeasured bycounting instructions,observing pulses on theoscilloscope and timing thecode execution time withtheon—chiptimer,while theHEAR accelerator ismeasured with thetimer aswell as an infinitelooprunning on theCFX DSP resultsaregiven,together with adiscussion oftheconditions influencing thebenchmarking seriesofelectroacoustic tests ofthe digitalhearing aidis carried out on atesting system and resultsshow thehearing plies with industrial standards.
