Creation Myths and Olympian Gods
1e grew up, Zeus returned home in disguise and slipped a potion(药水) into Cronus' drink, making him choke. The children he had swallowed were coughed out, whole and safe. They were his daughters Hestia, Demeter, and Hera, and sons Pluto and Poseidon.
A fierce battle then took place. Zeus freed the Cyclops who made thunderbolts for him to hurl. They also made a forked trident(三叉戟) for Poseidon, and a helmet that made its wearer invisible for Pluto. But, most of the Titans and giants sided with Cronus. After a terrible struggle the younger gods won. The Titans were banished: one of them, Atlas, was made to hold up the heavens as punishment.
Zeus: ruler of the sky and king of all the gods.
Poseidon: king of the Ocean
Pluto: king of the Underworld.
2. Titanic and Olympian Genealogy (家系学)
In Greek myth, the Titans and the Olympians were the two most important generations of the divine family. The strife between father and son, husband and wife, between the old and the young, the male and the female, made up the history and genealogy of the Greek gods and goddesses.

Zeus was the father of gods and mankind, protector of kings, inventor of courts, laws, peace and order. He had 7 wives—Metis, Themis, Eurynome, Demeter, Mnemosyne and Hera. It is said he had 50 love affairs outside wedlock, among which the most famous are with Danae, Europa, Io, Leda, Leto, Maia, Semel, and Alcmena.
