Methods 150 patients with endodontic disease admitted in our department from November 2010 to November 2013 were selected and divided into less filling group , excessive filling group and proper filling group with 50 cases in each in accordance with the degrees of root canal filling. Results The response rate was 54% in the less filling group , 64% in the over filling group , 94% in the proper filling group , the difference in the response rate between the less filling group and the over filling group was not statistically significant ( P> ). The response rate in the proper filling group was much higher than that in the less filling group and over filling group ( P< ).
