本节课是外研社新标准小学英语(三年级起始）五年级上册Module7 Unit1 He can，表达学生的主动性，让学生切身感受单词含义，调动学生学****的积极性）
b。出示幻灯片：Oh！ The girl is deaf. She can’t hear
（老师捂住耳朵）deaf， deaf, deaf. (让学生跟读)
Suppose I am deaf now. I want to ask you a question: Boys and girls are you happy today？
Ss： Yes。
T: What？
Ss： Yes.
T: Oh, no! I can’t hear you! Ok, boys and girls， show me “deaf “ （老师捂住耳朵,学生跟着做） deaf，deaf
Ss： Deaf， deaf，。
T: Hear，hear。 She can’t hear.
Ss： Hear，hear。 She can’t hear.
T： Deaf ,deaf ， This girl is deaf。
Ss： Deaf ,deaf ， This girl is deaf。
（设计思路：分组比赛读，看哪组读的好，学生跃跃欲试，兴趣浓重)
师指着图片，学生读句子：This girl is deaf。 She can’t hear。 This dog helps her。
firemen can’t find people。 These dogs help them。 Fireman. fire-—man.
Ss: fireman, fire——man
Ask some students to read it。
T:The firemen can’t find the people， who help them.
Ss:dogs
T: The dogs help them
(出示幻灯片)Dogs can help the blind man ,the deaf girl and the firemen .So we can say “Dogs are very useful。”
Follow me “Useful， useful, useful， dogs are very useful.”
Ss: Useful, useful. Dogs are very useful。
(设计思路：整个教单词和句子的过程运用“全身反响法”和琅琅上口的chant有利于学生对单词、句子意义理解，记忆和运用。同时，以Dog为线，使学生认识到动物和人类关系亲密,应保护动物.）
d。由：Dogs are very useful 引出Can we have a dog？ No, we can’t。 和 Yes，we can.
集体练****两遍后，老师可以找班上的学生放在桌子上的物品，让全班学生发问,如:Can I have your pen ，please? （问几次）引导学生答复。再让学生两两自由练****
