Abstract
:A multiple outputs high-voltage isolated power supply for solid-state switches used in HVDC
circuit breakers is studied. The power supply adopts LCL-T resonant tank to obtain the constant current
source, a high voltage cable is built as current bus for electrical isolation, the power is picked up from
current bus by magnetic rings, and the aim of multiple outputs is realized. First, the structure and char-
acteristics of the power supply were presented in this paper, and each constituent part was analyzed. Sec-
ondly, the operating principle and output characteristics of the LCL-T resonant tank were analyzed, the

quality factor of the circuit topology was optimized and the parameters of the prototype wrere given. Mo-
reover, the prototype combined the characteristics of LCL-T resonant tank as a constant current source
and magnetic rings picked up power from current bus. Finally, a prototype of 12 outputs and rated output
power of 5 W per channel was designed, built and tested. The experimental results show that the proto-
type has advantages such as simple structure, flexible extensibility, zero voltage switch
