ABSTRACT Objective： To investigate the incidence of depression in diabetics , discuss the affecting factors. Method : Eighty three diabetics were
interviewed and analyzed by SDS in Chonggu Town Community Health Center. Result: The prevalence of depression in diabetics was 38. 55%, which is higher than normal population. High fasting blood glucose , increasing BMI and chronic complication were found to be closely related to the depression in diabetics. Conclusion
： The prevalence of depression in diabetics is high and more attention should be paid to those patients by Community Health Center.
