物流是国民经济的动脉,是联系生产和消费、联系城市和乡村的纽带。仓储作为物流的一种功能要素,作为连接生产者和消费者的纽带对整个物流系统有很大影响,高效合理的仓储可以帮助企业加快物资流动的速度,降低成本,保证生产的顺利进行,并可以实现资源的有效利用。物流体系的迅速发展要求有完善的仓储作业水平为保障,而目前我国仓储业的发展还无法满足需要,与我国经济发展规模、发展速度和社会需求相比,仍有不小的距离,仓储业发展明显滞后,存在的问题也比较多。因此,我国对仓储业的发展应引起足够重视。
文章分析了我国仓储业的现状和发展中存在的问题,结合M物流公司实例,对其现状进行分析,指出存在的问题并分别从仓库利用、仓储成本及仓储管理技术三个方面提出改进的意见和建议。从而提高我们对仓储管理质量的认识,在降低仓储物流费用的同时提高我们的物流服务水平。
