刘端祺教授告诉记者，两年前，医生出身的全国人大副委员长韩启德曾在一次会议上以胃癌为例，谈到了肿瘤治疗的现状。他说：二十年前，诊断胃癌的平均费用为440元，而现在，平均诊断费用是2830元。假如运用比较高端的诊断技术，则平均费用会上升至8000元。而且这还仅仅是诊断费用，并不包括治疗费用，治疗费用的攀升则更加惊人。在二十年前，一次化疗的平均费用为100元，而现在则上升到了15050
