查处为事前和事中监管中，党风廉政建设各项工作扎实推进。村级干部廉政意识明显增强，违纪问题明显减少。
二是融洽了干群关系。以前，一些村干部向群众“拍胸脯”、“表承诺”，只管“拍脑袋”、“表困难”，由此干部和群众产生了隔阂，出现误解，甚至引发冲突。还有就是村干部确实是为了村上的事忙前忙后，是为集体办实事，为群众办好事，但事与愿违，往往被群众怀疑是“别有所图”、“心怀叵测”，可现在村干部普遍反映：“有了监督委员会的公正评说，身正不怕影子斜，不必担心那些不必要的麻烦了，烦心的事儿少了，工作的劲头足了，可以放开膀子干大事了”，而且普遍得到了群众的理解和支持。
三是维护了农村社会的安定稳定。一年来，监督委员会与村“两委”各司其职，使村民自治、民主管理和民主监督逐步落到实处。在村民监督委员会的参与下，很多村民之间，村民与村集体之间的利益纠纷得到了满意的处理，农村的自治得到更好的体现，群众上访明显下降。保障了农村的长期和谐稳定。
三、存在的问题和今后的打算
我村监委会工作取得了一定的成绩，但也还存在一些问题：主要表现在：由于人员素质问题，开展工作还不理想，对村监委会职权的定位把握还不够准确；受劳务输出的影响，大部分有能力的青壮年都外出务工，各村监委会组成人员参差不齐，对监委会这
