Abstract： Construction
Through the analysis of the main obligations of contractors under the 2017 edition of the FIDIC
Contract
, the general obligations, quality, progress, payment, risk sharing, cooperation, safety, and information investigation
were sorted out respectively, and the revised part between the 2017 edition and the 1999 edition was compared and analyzed.
Combined with the current background of international engineering contracting and the continuous advancement of the "One
Belt and One Road" initiative, the importance for contractors to be familiar with the FIDIC contract was expounded, which can
provide contract risk prevention suggestions for contractors.
