更重要的是选择具体的题目。
选题，就是选择什么样的专题确定为自己学****研究的具体方向。法律的问题内容极其繁杂，就是确定一个大的方向，里边的内容也是十分复杂的。比如说，我们选择物权法作为研究的方向，作一个20多万字的专著，不可能写《物权法论》。如果20万字写成一部《物权法论》，那就是普及的教材，而不是法学专著。湖南大学的屈茂辉教授是我们学校的博士研究生，在入学之前，他寄给我一本《用益物权》，大概有40万字。这种著作，分量与内容是一致的。同样，如果选择侵权行为法作为研究方向，也只能选择一个具体的题目，比如特殊侵权行为啦，归责原则啦，构成要件啦，赔偿范围啦，等等。我欣赏王卫国教授的《第三次勃兴――过错责任原则》，就是专门研究过错责任原则的专著，一个归责原则写了20多万字。题目好，写的再好，就是一个出色的作品。民法总论的题目很多，可以做很多选择。我原来想过的有民事主体、民事责任、诉讼时效，等等。但是如果选择是《意思自治原则》，这就是一个很好的题目。如果把这个题目做好了，不仅是
