四、公交规划
近期城区居民出行主要依靠地面常规公交，在主要客流走廊以及连接主要居住区和工业开发区的通道上布置交通干线。南北向交通线路主要布置在川陕路、蜀龙路、主干三路、围城路等通道上，东西向主公交线路主要布置在新都大道、电子路、海都路及规划东西向主干道上。远期公交以轨道交通和地面常规公交线路一起构成片区发达的公交线网系统。
规划公共交通线网覆盖城区90％以上，线网密度在中心区达3－4公里/平方公里，边缘区达2－,覆盖全部城区主干路和部分次干路。城区公共汽车拥有量按800—1000人一辆标准车计。规划公交首末站1处。
五、静态交通规划
在各组团公建密集处，结合道路、绿地设置游憩集会广场，广场不宜太大，每处宜为1万平方米左右；此外结合客运车站设置交通集散广场，并在附近配建机动车、非机动车停车场（库）交通集散广场允许车辆短暂停留上下客，但不得长时间存放。
搬迁现有长途客运站至电子路与大件路交界处，与宝光寺公交站结合，结合新都火车站规划一处货运中心，占地面积约21000m
