一、项目选址
本项目厂址位于唐河县城郊乡王岗村孟庄〔组〕，占地面积143亩，项目东北侧545m处为枣园村居民点，位于桐河东侧1327m、唐河西北侧2238m处，所在区域远离河流村庄等敏感点。根据《唐河县畜禽养殖禁养区限养区划分方案》，本项目选址不在禁养区、限养区划分范围内；项目选址符合该划分方案要求。项目地理位置图见附图1。
二、项目区平面布局
本项目根据养殖工艺流程及产品走向及相互关系进行厂区平面布置。在满足生产工艺流程的前提下，综合考虑建筑物的位置和朝向〔位于唐河县主导风向的下风向〕，以创造良好的营运环境。
三、生产规模
该项目主要从事良种猪〔种猪、肉猪和猪苗〕的繁殖饲养。项目年存栏2500头，其中种猪120头、母猪280头、育肥猪2100头；年出栏商品猪6250头。

四、产业政策
比对国家发展和改革委员会令第[9]号令《产业结构调整指导目录〔2011年本〕》，本项目〔千头生猪养殖场〕属于鼓励类第一款“农林业”第5条“畜禽标准化规模养殖技术开发与应用”，因此该项目符合国家当前产业政策。
五、工程建设内容
本项目主要建设内容包括：各类猪舍、实验室、人工受精站、综合防治室及沼气池等，工程建设内容见表2。
