of rural drinking water sources, protection of drinking water sources in rural areas by the end of th邢台市西部60公里的太行革命老区，是中国人民抗日军政大学旧址，抗日战争最艰苦的年代，中国人民抗日军政大学在这里坚持敌后办学两年零三个月。前南峪总面积9700亩，其中耕地746亩，宜林山场8300亩，人均6分田，7亩山，户籍人口1340人，村党委下辖4个党支部，120名党员。

    前南峪人也从单纯摄取自然财富的掠夺者，一味改造自然的征服者，逐步变成与自然和谐相处的“生态建设者〞。
    上世纪七十年代，前南峪是个“山上和尚头、下雨遍地流，有雨就成灾、无雨渴死牛〞的穷山村，特别是1963的一场特大暴雨，使前南峪受到严重摧残，灾后，人均只剩二分地。从1964年起，党支部组织群众抗洪救灾，重建家园，制定了20年规划，四年植树造林，五年修滩造田，三年兴修水利，八年高标准综合治山，农田水利根底设施得到恢复和开展，山场全部绿化，生态环境改变，人均耕地到达6分。

    生产生活条件虽然得到初步改变，但是由于受当时经营体制的影响，前南峪仍然和大多数山区农村一样，过着“吃粮靠统销，花钱靠贷款〞的穷苦生活。
