四是慰问特困党员和老弱病残党员。镇里的班子成员带头，结合对所联系的困难户和特困党员进行了一次走访慰问。各支部也开展了对本支部的困难党员和老党员进行一次走访慰问，进一步掌握党员的思想工作和生活状况，帮助解决实际困难80余起。
五是大部分支部开展了"义工"劳动。各支部能结合自身实际，积极落实 "党员义工"制度和"党员奉献日"活动。能根据党员设岗定职情况，采取了按类分组、精心组织、灵活开展的方法，因地制宜地开展起政策宣传、打扫卫生、清理池塘、清除"牛皮癣"等活动。据统计全镇约有1650余名党员参加了"义工"劳动。
六是部分支部组织党员外出参观学习。有9个支部组织了本支部的在家党员外出参观学习。使参加的党员更好更直观地了解了党的丰功伟绩，进一步增强了党的凝聚力和支部的战斗堡垒作用。
七是开展了"学党章、明荣辱、争先进"的大讨论活动。各支部能结合学习省的第十二届党代会的精神和学习党章的体会，开展了一次"学党章、明荣辱、争先进"的大讨论活动。通过讨论进一步提高了广大党员的思想认识，更深刻地理解了保持共产党员先进性的具体要求，对推进我镇党员队伍建设起到了较好的作用。
通过一系列的活动，进一步激励了广大党员立足本职，扎实工作，永葆党员先进性的决心，树立了为实现全面小康社会目标而努力奋斗思想。
