关于秘书理论建设的思考
 一、我们已留出了一条自己的路，但还必须不断地填充与拓展
在过去的十多年里，我们已大体理清了我国秘书活动现象的历史开展沿革，秘书论坛上不仅出现了大量秘书史学研究的论文，而且在许多秘书专著中，秘书史局部的线条越来越清晰，出现了以杨剑宇同志的?中国秘书史?为代表的几部秘书史学研究专著。 
在过去的十多年里，我们已出版了数以百计的?秘书学概论?，根本上已答复了"秘书人员怎么做"等关键性的学科命题。我们可以毫无愧疚地说：我们已经在自己的黄土地上，踏出了一条学科建设之路。正如历代的拓荒者那样，我们根据自己的国情、政情、社情和中国秘书工作者的实践，初建了中国的秘书工作学说，并以此指导了自己的秘书教学工作和秘书实际工作。 
在过去的十多年里，我们坚持了理论植根于实践，理论效劳于实际学科的开展思路，在深入进行党政机关秘书工作研究的同时，也对企业秘书工作、涉外秘书工作进行了初步的研究。 
过去的十多年里，在各秘书刊物上发表了大量极有价值的学术论文。在这方面，?秘书工作?、?秘书?、?秘书之友?、?秘书界?、?广东秘书?、?企业秘书?、?文秘?等杂志的主编、编辑们，作出了突出的奉献，不管是秘书理论工作者还是实际工作者，对他们默默地无私奉献，都是深为敬佩的。 
总之，在过去的十多年里，我们已经踏出了一条学科开展的自己的路，我们的秘书学不是从古人洋人那里依样画葫芦，照搬来的。我们在我国秘书工作厚实的泥土上，踏着自己的心血和汗水，开拓出了一条学科健康开展的道路。
